                                                 WELCOME TO HEADCORN BOWLS CLUB

Deep in the heart of the Kent countryside lies Headcorn Village, which is surrounded by many farms and fields, providing produce and grazing for sheep and cattle.   Also a thriving community, many of whom travel everyday to work in London and look forward to getting back home to a relaxing lifestyle.  Along with the retired who live in the area there are a number of activities they can enjoy - ranging from gardening, art, flower arranging,  yoga, judo, karate, line dancing, indoor short mat bowls, all of which take place in the Headcorn Village Hall and outdoors there is walking, cricket and football and local top class golf courses. The Headcorn Bowls Club is very visible on the A274, just north of the village. The bowls season runs from April to end of September.

Lawn Bowls is one of  the least expensive sports and one which can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities. The 2017 full membership cost £65 plus £2 green fees.

Full Members can enjoy friendly roll-ups (Such as Chummies every Thursday 4pm). Club competitions, club matches such as friendlies and mixed or mens leagues, and for the more competitive Kent County competitions. The sport adds a new dimension to life and new friendship.
